Secrets to Dog Training (formerly named SitStayFetch) has been revamped and was officially launched on February 2, 2009. SitStayFetch has been the top selling dog training course for over four years, and it has been bought by over 64,000 dog owners world-wide. Having reviewed it in great detail, I can fully understand why it continues to hold the top spot . The revamped version promises to be even better!

Secrets to Dog Training is an extremely comprehensive guide, written by the world renowned trainer, Daniel Stevens. Although the 261-page manual is impressively detailed, its step-by-step format provides straight-forward instructions on how to quickly identify and solve dog behavior problems. It also includes many excellent pictures!

All of the training methods described in the book are tried and true, having been used by Daniel Stevens in his own life as a professional dog trainer.

A 5-page table of contents lets you know from the beginning that this guide is jam-packed full of information. The course is not just one more dog training guide, although that section alone is worth the purchase price. The first part is for owners of a new dog or puppy, covering subjects such as diet and nutrition, house training, how to puppy-proof your home, choosing a vet, grooming, general health, etc. These are just some of the subjects covered to give you an idea of the wide range of information.

Several different training techniques are outlined in the course, including crate training, clicker training, dog whispering, and more. Next, the more advanced behavior issues such as chewing, biting, aggression, digging, jumping, etc. are covered. Several informative and interesting case studies are included in this section. We all love a good story!

In addition, there is a chapter on how to understand your dog and the significance of the owner being perceived as the alpha in the home. Doggy facial expressions, vocals and body language are also included in this section. Aided by photographs, the chapters on obedience training are well articulated and the many stances and commands are presented in excellent detail.

I’ve outlined just a fraction of what is covered but I’m sure you will agree that it is impressive. I had already heard great things about this course before I actually took a look at it so had high expectations. I have to say that Secrets to Dog Training has not disappointed me – in fact, I’m amazed at the quality and quantity of the information offered for such a low price.

This book is well-written using easily understood language. My reading experience was enhanced by the fact that the book is broken down into small chapters, making it easy to understand and follow. Being faced with a wall of text can be quite overwhelming!

I was glad to see that Secrets to Dog Training provides instructions for obedience training for all ages and problem behaviors. All too often dog trainers offer training for puppies, not recognizing that these problem behaviors can continue into a dog’s adulthood.

Another excellent feature is the free consultations offered by the team at Secrets to Dog Training when you buy the course. Just send the team an email and they will provide you with an individual answer for your specific dog behavior problem. You’ll receive a response full of practical tips and expert advice.

The following bonus items are included when you buy the guide: an audio book plus 5 extra e-books on house training, security training, aggression, grooming, and secrets to becoming the alpha dog.

A new and exciting bonus being included with the course is a 30-minute downloadable video, which shows effective methods to solve those annoying obedience issues. It is presented by Dave Johnson, the extremely popular dog care professional, who makes it all seem so easy!

The detailed information covered is easy to comprehend and extremely effective. This book is not only useful to dog owners who need help with problem behaviors in their pets. The information in this guide would be of use to everyone looking to have a great rapport with their dog.

Secrets to Dog Training is the top selling dog training guide for the 4th year in a row!

Training Dogs – Information is a free resource for dog owners offering useful tips on dog training and dog behavior problems.

Do you want to put a stop to your dog behavior problems? One top training package, Secrets To Dog Training effectively helps puppy and dog owners teach their dogs good behavior and obedience.

Do you have a generally disobedient dog? Or do you have a puppy that bite, bark, whine, pace and destroy things? Either way, the answer to solving your dog’s current behavioral issues lies in giving your dog effective behavior training.

Behavioral science has shown that with good dog training, it will help you and your dog build a better relationship and establish a tighter bond together but more importantly, it will also help your dog suppress any aggressive behavior, become more obedient, confident and less fearful of the surrounding environments.

And when it comes to giving good training to your dog, there are two options that you can choose from. The first option is to either attend a puppy training class or engage in the service of a professional dog trainer which can cost quite a bit. Alternatively, the cheaper second option is to train your dog personally though your inexperience may cause you to do the wrong thing. Yet, problems like these can definitely be minimized by reading and learning from good dog training books.

One such effective dog training guides that has helped over 216,245 dog owners worldwide overcome their puppies and dog behavior problems is Secrets To Dog Training by Daniel Stevens.

Formerly known as Sit Stay Fetch, Secrets To Dog Training is an excellent visual and audio learning tool (with a total of nine chapters and over 261 pages of detailed instruction and multiple real life case studies) to take you step-by-step on how to quickly identify and solve dog behavior problems, such as:

How to select, buy, raise and care for a puppy or older dog, covering subjects such as diet and nutrition, house training, how to puppy-proof your home, choosing a vet, grooming and general health.

Fixing common dog behavior problems including biting, nipping, aggression, digging, disobedience, fighting with other dogs, excessive barking, separation anxiety and many more.

How to train your dog virtually any command and tricks including Come, Sit, Stay, Hold, Leave, Seek, Beg, Catch, Crawl, and even climb ladders!

Additionally, the guide Secrets To Dog Training also comes with extra bonuses including separate books on “A Quick Guide To Dog Aggression”, “Tips on Security Training Your Dog”, and “Dog Grooming Made Easy”, “All the House Training Methods and Tricks”, and “Secrets To Becoming The Alpha Dog” which covers more specific training subjects.

So if you are a dog owner who has a new puppy or owns a older dog that has some kind of behavior problems, then you should at least check out Daniel’s Secrets To Dog Training guide. The information within is comprehensive and yet so simple to comprehend that you would certainly benefit and experience tremendous improvement in your dog behavior after reading and following the advice in it.

If you are a puppy or dog owner it is natural that you will want a well behaved and well balanced companion that is a joy to have around. No one wants a dog that is continually misbehaving. For a dog to become a well behaved pet and know how it is expected to behave as a member of your household, your dog will need guidance and training from you.

For your training to be successful, you must first have a good understanding of the right dog obedience training techniques to use. I highly recommend getting yourself a copy of one of the best on-line dog training books to teach you how to train your dog the right way-and get the results you want, rather than struggle with incorrect training methods that never really work as well as hope.

Not only is it fun to see your puppy or dog enjoying learning his new tricks but if you do the training the right way-using only the positive conditioning techniques that are taught by the best of the dog training programs-you will create a lasting bond of trust and confidence between you and your dog. This bond will ensure that your dog will always do his best to please you. He will learn to respect you as the “Alpha” dog of your little pack and look to you for guidance rather than just do whatever he wants when a whim strikes him.

So, how do you choose the right dog obedience training program? The Internet is full of choices, and many of them offer conflicting advice. How do you know which dog training program really is right for you?

The very best programs all agree on something very basic-the best results come when you train your dog using positive reinforcement techniques. Intimidating a dog enough to make it cower may get your dog to sit, but it also destroys your dog’s self confidence and trust in you and certainly takes all the fun out of the training for both you and your dog.

These days the best trainers emphasize that training should be done in a manner that communicates with the dog on the dog’s level. All too often we make the mistake of talking to our dogs as if they were just a fuzzy four legged version of a human. In a well done dog training program you will learn what not to do when you are training your pet, as well as what you should do-avoid making costly mistakes in the first place.

All the best dog obedience training books stress positive conditioning techniques, and will teach you not only how to actually do the steps of each exercise(sit, stay, etc.), but also give you an understanding of why you are going about the training in this particular way by teaching you how your dog sees things. It is very eye opening to learn how differently dogs see the world than we do. The better you understand your dog’s point of view and body language, the easier it will be for you to properly train your dog.

Without a good dog training book you just lack the information you should have to do the best job training your dog. If you are using the wrong techniques, or sending out confusing messages to your dog because of inconsistency, you could spend months trying to train your dog without getting good results. You will just end up being angry and frustrated, and your dog will end up confused and only partially trained.

Obedience training your dog should be fun, not a grind. By making the experience positive and fun, both you and your dog will really come to enjoy the daily training sessions and create a lifelong bond between you. So, get started the right way by choosing a great dog training book for the help you need to get the best results.

Dog training books are something that many people turn to when they need help training their pet or if they just want to understand some of the behavior better. I know that some people will question if they even work or not. I know that they do work if you follow the teaching that the dog training book lays out for you to follow. However, if you do not follow what the book is telling you to do then you will start to have trouble with the training process that you are doing for your dog.

Now you might be asking how can a book be used for training, well if you remember back to grade school and even high school when you were not doing hands on experiments or other items you were in class doing book work. So that should tell you that it is possible to learn from a book, but that was you doing it. Then if you remember back to being trained at a job you probably had a combination of book work and hands on. However, the book work was almost always involved someone impressing the material onto you so you could learn it. The same works with dog training books.

You might even be considering purchasing some of the electronic format or online dog training courses that you have seen online or read about. I would have to recommend that if you do this you will want to make sure the person that wrote the book has experience with animals such as a professional dog trainer. Some of the programs which are really nice and well worth the money will have videos or audio that accompany them so you will learn exactly what tone of voice to use.

While I have used dog training books in the past and had success with them with the internet you can find great training resources with video that can allow you to see how your dog will act. If you want more information about online dog training you will want to click here.
